I just went and bought a Bell Motorcycle helmet today at walmart for 80 bucks. Overall its a pretty good quality helmet i'd say.

On another note. I talked to my friends dad who's got a 03 G35 coupe and he's gonna come along too. He's not sure if he'll drive yet, but i told him to go ahead and fill out a form and bring everything he needs if he decides to.

good news, if the helmet is Snell certified then you can use it at Hallett WHEN you come this year!

Tulsa people, if you are needing a helmet they have some pretty cheap Snell certified helmets at K&N Motorcycle in west Tulsa. I bought an open face one last year prior to Hallett, it does the job.

As far as I know the Tulsa guys are still planning on being there by 8:00

I guess there might be quite a few of us waiting for the gates to open....

Thanks for putting this on. I am Charlie (Oni's) friend with the evo. I am looking forward to today.

I have been to hallett twice on a motorcycle and plan on going in the evo hopefully soon.

I know it's a little too late but maybe for the next track days, if you don't have a helmet, then come into cycle gear on nw expressway just east of may (in OKC) and talk to me. I work there part time and can help you pick out a good helmet. I wouldn't trust a "cheap" helmet but we do have some full face helmets there for 50 bucks. lots of 3/4 helmets too but to me they a little pricey for what little they are.

anyway, looking forward to meeting you all and having some fun today. I bought me a GOPRO camera and will have it mounted in the car so hopefully in the next couple days I can through a video together and post it up.

Thanks and OKZCC for putting this on and for excepting my app. to come play

Thank you guys for meeting up with me and showing me the ropes. I can't wait to do it again sometime.

too much fun today. It was great meeting the new people and seeing some new cars on the track.

My in car video worked great, I just wish I would have done it on the last group run.....so I could watch me passing the other G35's over and over and over again Very Happy . It's alright, I was the fastest at Hallett too Razz And to think I was going to ride b*tch in Logan's car that last round....I'm glad I got out at the last minute and jumped back in my car!

I'm worn out, I'll post my pics sometime soon. We need to make a thread in the past events section (unless someone has already done it!).
